Sydney – Global law firm K&L Gates welcomes Annalie Mitchelson as a partner in its Tax practice. Mitchelson joins the firm’s Sydney office from Deloitte Legal, where she also served as a partner.

With over 20 years of tax and legal experience gained in government and large private practice, Mitchelson brings a deep national and international perspective to her client work. Her experience includes acting in complex tax matters involving transfer pricing, anti-avoidance, and R&D disputes. She is known for her detailed approach to gathering, analysing, and presenting compelling evidence to achieve successful dispute resolutions.

Mitchelson regularly advises both Australian and multinational clients on tax risk management strategies. She provides practical and strategic guidance throughout the lifecycle of risk reviews and audits – from initial stages through to litigation or settlement.
