Foley Hoag, led by team co-chairs Alex Camp and Ariella Katz
Miller, won a Division Champion award in the 2025 Greater Boston
Legal Services (GBLS) Associates Fund Drive, the first such award
for the firm. Foley Hoag raised a record $41,470 in this year's
drive, which raised more than $750,000 in total from attorneys at
firms across Boston, also a record.
Camp, an associate in the Business Department, said "It really
shows the values that we share at Foley Hoag, in our belief in the
importance of providing free legal services to those who need it
and being a good member of the community here in
Boston."
Katz Miller, an International Litigation and Arbitration associate,
said "With basic rights under attack and massive cuts to our
social safety net, I can't think of a more important time to
support free legal aid. The work of GBLS is also personal to
me...and I'm immensely proud of Foley Hoag's leadership in
the GBLS Associates Drive this year."
Foley Hoag attorneys have partnered with GBLS on pro bono work for
over four decades. The firm believes that every attorney should
help make our legal systems open to all persons, regardless of
ability to pay, and attorneys are encouraged to provide at least 25
hours of pro bono annually. Last year, the firm contributed close
to 28,000 pro bono hours and helped more than 360 clients.
The firm was recognized during a virtual ceremony on July, 24,
2025. You can watch Alex and Ariella's full remarks below:
