Hampton Dellinger's arrival to Foley Hoag has received
coverage in a recent Law360 article,
Watchdog Chief Fired by Trump Joins Foley Hoag In D.C.
The article highlighted Dellinger's experience in both
government and private practice and noted both his and the
firm's strengths in areas such as energy, healthcare and life
sciences. "I thought about other law firms, I thought about
non-profit opportunities, I even thought about running for U.S.
Senate in North Carolina, but I ultimately concluded that using my
legal training and advocacy experience to help non-profits,
universities and companies fulfill their goals is what I most
wanted to do at this time," he said.
Dellinger also noted Foley Hoag's commitment to standing up for
the rule of law, in light of unlawful executive actions: "I
really admire how steadfast Foley Hoag has been in standing up for
the rule of law and supporting other law firms. The firm, of
course, has, throughout this year, been assisting clients who are
dealing with executive orders, administration actions that appear
to be without a legal basis. I think it'll be a great
match."
Dellinger's arrival was also covered by
