Taft, one of the fastest-growing law firms in the nation, welcomed attorneys Chandler Harr and Jarissa Sabal to its Private Client group in Denver.
Harr navigates ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and businesses through complex estate, gift, and income tax, and business succession matters. He practiced at a Colorado-based law firm prior to joining Taft.
"I'm looking forward to taking my background in tax law and family office and leveraging it at Taft," said Harr. "With a prominent private client practice in Denver, along with the firm's impressive growth, this is the ideal place for me to further develop my practice while learning from a team of attorneys with varied and extensive experience."
Joining Taft from a firm in New York, Sabal assists individuals and families in achieving their personal and business wealth goals. She focuses her practice on guiding clients through complex trust, estate, family, business, and tax matters.
"This move to Taft marks several significant changes in my practice," noted Sabal. "I'm relocating to the Mountain West and shifting my focus to private client matters. Amid these exciting developments, I couldn't think of a better platform to join. I'm excited to be part of a growing firm like Taft and work with a team of such talented and genuine individuals."
"We are excited to welcome Chandler and Jarissa to our team in Denver," said Jessica Broderick, Taft's Mountain West Private Client group chair. "In our practice, families and businesses rely on us to help safeguard their future. The experience and insight Chandler and Jarissa bring will reinforce the trust clients place on us and strengthen our capabilities."
Harr earned his J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law and his B.S. from Brigham Young University – Idaho. Sabal earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
Effective Jan. 1, 2025, Taft combined with Sherman & Howard, Denver's oldest and third-largest firm. The merger expanded Taft's footprint into the Mountain West and added approximately 125 lawyers. In addition to Harr and Sabal, Taft has welcomed 19 new attorneys in the Mountain West region since announcing the merger, further accelerating its strategic growth.
