Toda & Nel-lo expands its value proposition for its clients with the creation of a China Desk. The firm takes another step forward in this mission by creating a specific unit for the Chinese market, from which it will serve the needs of Chinese companies investing in Spain. The China Desk will also act as a hub for investments destined for other countries in Europe and Latin America, drawing on its international alliances. The firm aims to advise on M&A and regulatory and tax law, among other disciplines. In addition, the new Desk will support Spanish companies in their investments in the Chinese market.
To this end, Wenbo Zhou, a Spanish lawyer born in China that specialises in advising Chinese companies in Spain, has joined the firm who will head its China Desk. Zhou has extensive experience as a commercial lawyer and will be supported by a multidisciplinary team of professionals from Toda & Nel-lo with extensive experience in assisting foreign companies with their needs in Spain.
With this step, the firm is strengthening its commitment to growth in international business, an area in which Toda & Nel-lo has been gaining ground in recent years. The firm also has solid international alliances through the Legal Network International (LNI) and the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA), covering more than 110 jurisdictions worldwide.
