During the event, Young Moore attorney and current Chair of the NCBA Tax Section, Reed Hollander, will introduce incoming Chair Christopher E. Hannum of Culp Elliott & Carpenter PLLC, as Reed concludes his one-year term.
With a strong focus on state and local tax issues, the NCBA Tax Section provides a wide range of programs on emerging tax topics and actively engages in policy, pro bono, and legislative projects. The Section also sponsors CLE opportunities, maintains an active blog for members, holds member roundtables to discuss current tax issues, and contributes to shaping the NCBA’s legislative agenda for presentation to the North Carolina General Assembly.

Reed Hollander is a shareholder at Young Moore and concentrates his practice on North Carolina state and local tax (SALT) controversies, including property, sales and use, excise, and income tax matters. He also represents clients in eminent domain, economic development, and administrative litigation.
