Julia B. Meister, head of Taft’s Wealth Transfer Litigation practice, recently spoke with other ABA colleagues on a panel at the 37th Annual National CLE Conference hosted by the ABA Section of Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law. The panel, titled, “Covering Your Assets: Tools for Safeguarding Trustee Decision Making,” covered matters related to the use of planning devices, accounting and reports, settlement agreements, and court applications. Taft Phoenix office associate, Nasir Ahmed, assisted in preparation of seminar materials and also attended the Conference.
Meister is a Co-Chair of the ABA’s Alternative Dispute Resolution committee, an elected Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, an honoree in Chambers and Partners (High Net Worth-Private Wealth Law), Best Lawyers in America, Ohio Super Lawyers, and a Cincy Magazine Leading Lawyer for Litigation. She is a frequent author for legal publications and instructor at programs for lawyers and the judiciary.
