Taft is pleased to announce that Kay Pashos, Vivek Hadley, and Kelli Jachimiak have been selected as 2025 Leadership in Law honorees by The Indiana Lawyer. Pashos has been named a Distinguished Barrister, Hadley has been named an Up and Coming Lawyer, and Jachimiak has been named a Legal Support Star. They will be recognized at an awards event on May 29.
The Indiana Lawyer annually honors Indiana attorneys and professionals who make meaningful contributions not only to the legal profession but to their communities and beyond. The Distinguished Barrister, Up and Coming Lawyer, and Legal Support Star Awards honor such members of the legal community.
Pashos is a partner in Taft's Energy group. She advises and represents energy and utility companies before state regulatory agencies in various cases. For more than 30 years, she has represented energy utility companies before state public utility commissions in a variety of proceedings.
Hadley is a partner in Taft's Litigation group with deep and substantial experience in every aspect of litigation, from trial through appeal. Hadley began his career clerking for John G. Baker of the Indiana Court of Appeals. He has litigated four trials, including one federal jury trial that he first chaired and has been involved with other major high-stakes trial court litigation.
Jachimiak is a paralegal in Taft's Indianapolis office. She has been a litigation paralegal since 1990, specializing in the defense of multi-district and mass tort litigation. Throughout her career, Jachimiak has acquired invaluable experience preparing for and attending numerous depositions, hearings, and trials in various state and federal districts.
