Arnold & Porter represented Motive, an AI-powered integrated
operations platform, in a patent infringement lawsuit brought by
Omnitracs before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District
of California.
After an eight-day trial, the jury delivered a unanimous verdict
that Motive did not infringe any of Omnitracs' four asserted
patents — a decisive victory for AI innovation, technology,
and many crucial physical economy sectors.
The trial team was led by Arnold & Porter partner Brent
Ray.
