Our Capital markets team has advised RC Fornax plc on its successful placing and admission to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.
A rapid growth, market-disruptive, solutions provider in the defence sector, RC Fornax was co-founded in 2020 by two ex-RAF engineers, Paul Reeves and Daniel Clark, who spotted deficiencies in the existing outsourced contract defence market.
The company is an accredited consultancy business providing efficient and bespoke project management solutions, with a focus on operations within the UK defence industry. The IPO represents a significant milestone for RC Fornax and will enable the company to accelerate expansion of its business and develop an advanced Artificial Intelligence tool.
The team which advised RC Fornax was led by Corporate Partner and Co-Chair of Global Tech, Davey Brennan, and was ably supported by a large cross-firm deal team, including a Corporate team consisting of Principal Associate Alex Davidson and Associates Anna Plenderleith and Freddie Whittle.
Commenting on the firm's role, Davey Brennan said: "It has been an absolute pleasure working with Paul, Daniel and the wider RC Fornax team. We're delighted to have had the opportunity to advise Paul and Daniel throughout the process and are excited about the company's future as a quoted company. In what remains a very challenging market, we are delighted to have advised on the first AIM IPO of 2025."
Paul Reeves, CEO of RC Fornax plc, added: "The support and input that we received from Davey and his team throughout this process has been absolutely fantastic. We are incredibly excited about the future and look forward to the wealth of new opportunities ahead."
