NEW YORK (January 29, 2025) - AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, announced today it is expanding its vibrant Retail practice with the addition of David Ritter, an industry expert with extensive experience building businesses and driving enterprise-wide performance transformation in consumer-facing environments.
Dave brings more than 20 years of experience in building and scaling retail businesses. He is a strategic operations and technology focused executive and leader with an impressive record of transforming corporate performance in B2C industries. He has a particularly deep understanding of the grocery business, with a focus on retail strategy development and retail operations, as well as significant experience in merchandising, supply chain, and M&A.
Dave joins AlixPartners from Alvarez & Marsal, where he was a Managing Director, following 14 years at McKinsey & Co. He co-founded the Consumer and Retail Group at A&M and led the practice's marketing efforts. At McKinsey, Dave led the grocery practice in the Americas for four years. He holds a BA from United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Ritter served as a captain in the U.S. Army from 1999 through 2004.
