Working in the Schools (WITS), of which Jenner & Block is a sponsor, was highlighted in a WGN segment for the work it does for Chicago Public Schools. WITS is the largest provider of literacy programming to Chicago Public Schools and the largest activator of corporate engagement in Chicago public elementary schools.
The organization has over 500 mentors that work with the program, including some from Jenner & Block, which has an annual mentorship program with the organization.
In addition to its literacy and mentorship programming, WITS organizes workshops to discuss topics in the field of literacy.
Associate Sarah Petrovich currently serves on the organization’s Associate Board and Partner Debra Levin serves on the Board of Directors. Jenner’s connection with the organization is unique, as WITS was co-founded by Debra’s mother.
