Camilleri Preziosi is proud to announce that the firm has once again sponsored the Customer Focus Award as part of JA Malta's Start-Up Programme.

As a law firm whose primary focus is to provide support and assist businesses in growing and achieving their goals, we wholly support JA Malta's vision to improve young people's understanding of business and entrepreneurship, and to educate and empower them to achieve success in their working life.

This philosophy is intertwined with the Customer Focus Award as the team presented with this award would have been able to demonstrate innovative ideas that lead to excellent customer service.

Donald Vella had the pleasure of attending JA Malta Foundation Finals & Awards Night 2024 where he awarded Littleroot with Camilleri Preziosi Advocates' Customer Focus Award. Littleroot is focused on tackling Malta's space limitations by developing self-contained garden systems for organically grown herbs, flowers and plants.

The criteria used to assess this award are focused on three main pillars: customer focus, business sustainability, and use of digital innovation. An additional bonus can be obtained if the team demonstrates a commitment to digital ethics, particularly by taking aspects such as privacy, security, and intellectual property into account when devising their business processes.

The first pillar of customer focus concentrates on whether the team has managed to understand the world of its clients, and whether the team is able to anticipate and serve its clients' changing needs. Another consideration which is taken into account is whether the team demonstrates the intention to create value for its clients and to build their client's trust by serving their interests responsibly.

The second pillar of business sustainability centers on whether the team demonstrates sufficient business potential, with a realistic and practical business plan. This would require the team to think about whether they have a strategy, business case, partnership structure and distribution channels (amongst other elements) in place.

The third and final pillar of digital innovation is tied to whether the team has been able to demonstrate use of digital innovations and whether the team has managed to introduce a genuinely new innovative product or service.

We wish all participants in the Start-Up and Company Programmes all the very best for the future!
