WASHINGTON, D.C., September 21, 2023 — Arnold & Porter announced today that David Emanuelson has joined the firm's Antitrust practice as a partner. He brings a strong background handling antitrust litigation and government investigations in the global technology and pharmaceutical sectors.

Emanuelson previously led Intel's global M&A regulatory practice, advising on worldwide merger approval and foreign investment for strategic transactions. He also led responses to antitrust conduct investigations by various government agencies, including the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, Department of Justice, and the European Commission. Prior to his in-house experience, Emanuelson spent over a decade representing clients in complex antitrust litigation and government investigations in the microprocessor, chemicals, telecommunications, airline, television, dairy, and automotive refinishing paint industries.

Emanuelson earned his J.D. from University of Illinois School of Law and his B.S. from Northern Illinois University.
