The name change better reflects the integrated services now available to our clients
In December 2022, we announced Rouse's acquisition of leading European IP firm Valea. The acquisition was a significant step towards Rouse's vision of building a global IP services leader, to meet the evolving needs of clients seeking integrated, multi-jurisdictional IP support.
The acquisition has given Rouse and Valea clients the opportunity to access new markets and enhanced IP capabilities. Valea clients can now tap into the unparalleled expertise that Rouse offers in markets such as China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Rouse clients benefit from Valea's depth of European patent and trade mark expertise in Europe.
We have been working hard over the past 6 months to bring the Valea and Rouse teams more closely together. Valea professionals are now supporting Rouse clients and Rouse professionals are supporting Valea clients. Our teams in Stockholm share one office.
We are now ready to take the next step towards fuller integration. From 15 June 2023, Valea will trade as 'Rouse', to better reflect the integrated services now available to our clients.
