Andrew Hulsh

Andrew is a trusted and sought-after transactional attorney who advises private equity and venture capital sponsors, publicly held and private companies, and early stage companies in a broad spectrum of US and international transactions. In leading some of the world's most recognized mergers, acquisitions, public offerings, and fund formation transactions, he works with clients across the life sciences, technology, clean tech and renewable energy, health care, telecommunications, business services, and aviation industries.
Andrew leads strategic transactions in the United States and throughout Europe, Israel, Latin America, and Asia, including cross-border M&A buyout transactions. Clients seek his counsel in capital markets transactions, growth equity investments for private equity sponsors, financings for venture capital sponsors, and private placements of equity and debt securities. In addition, Andrew represents emerging companies in transactions, licensing agreements, incentive compensation arrangements, and other commercial matters. Andrew's investment funds work encompasses advising on the formation of private equity and venture capital funds, fund-to-fund investments, co-investments, and the acquisition of asset managers.
A recognized thought leader, Andrew regularly writes articles on private equity, M&A, board fiduciary duties, and asset management and contributes to CNBC, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, Thomson Reuters, The Deal, and other leading news outlets. He also lectures and presents at conferences throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and South America.
Prior to joining Mintz, Andrew was a partner at a prominent national law firm, where he led US and international transactions for private equity and venture capital sponsors, public corporations, and private companies. He earned a JD, cum laude, from Cornell Law School and a BS from Boston University.
