Malta's latest residence program, the Global Residence
Program, was launched on 1 July 2013.
The Program currently relates to non-EU nationals and offers
applicants a special tax status of 15% to be taxed on any
income arising outside Malta that is remitted to Malta. A similar
residence program for EU nationals is expected to be issued
shortly.
