Moldova's President, Igor Dodon, during a meeting of Moldova's Supreme Security Council, informed the local press that the Government had suspended the country's recently introduced citizenship by investment program. According to him, the program is pending a review.
The current Government started an initiative to review the entire program, including various companies that have been involved as service providers.
All applications that have been officially accepted so far will be fully processed to completion. There will be a temporary pause of processing new applications so that the government can complete its evaluation process.
