Slovak News - Dec 96 - Export And Import Bank

Slovakia Corporate/Commercial Law
The Slovak government has adopted a Law proposal of the National Council of SR on the Export and the Import Bank of the Slovak Republic.

This specialized financial institution is to find solutions to the questions of financing and insuring export and import loans under the conditions usual in the OECD and EU countries.

As quoted by Ms Kovaeova from the Ministry of Finance SR, the bank will not conduct current commercial activities, but it is to support programmes approved by the government mainly in the industry area.
