Cetinkaya partner Altug Ozgun was recently a key speaker at an online Green Logistics and Green Procurement Seminar, held on 25 May.

The event, which was open to all to attend upon registration, attracted more than 160 in-house professionals from members of The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Family Businesses Association (TAIDER). Discussions on the day focused on how best to enable environmentally friendly procedures for logistic and procurement operations within the scope of current national and international regulations. Altug, who attended in his capacity as a board member for TEID (Ethics and Reputation Society of Turkey) gave a presentation detailing the goals of the EU's new Green Deal, giving an insight into how best to comply with the regulation and how it is likely to affect Turkish exporters. Other speakers at the event included Tugrul Günal, Chairman of TEDAR, and Hasan Caglayan Head of TOBB's Real Sector Development and Implementation Department, plus panel speakers Atilla Yıldıztekin and Nur Yapça.

Kayıt ile herkesin katılımına açık olan etkinliğe, Türkiye Odalar ve Borsalar Birliği (TOBB) ve Aile İşletmeleri Derneği (TAİDER) üyelerinden 160'tan fazla kurum içi profesyonel katıldı. Tartışmalar ile, mevcut ulusal ve uluslararası düzenlemeler kapsamında lojistik ve tedarik zinciri operasyonları için çevre dostu prosedürlerin en iyi şekilde nasıl etkinleştirileceğine odaklanıldı. TEİD (Türkiye Etik ve İtibar Derneği) yönetim kurulu üyesi sıfatıyla katılan Altuğ, AB'nin yeni Yeşil Mutabakat'ının hedeflerini açıklayan bir sunum yaparak, bu düzenlemeye uyumun nasıl en iyi şekilde sağlanabileceği ve bunun Türk ihracatçılarını ne şekilde etkileyeceği hakkında bilgi verdi. TEDAR Başkanı Tuğrul Günal ve TOBB Reel Sektör Ar-Ge ve Uygulama Daire Başkanı Hasan Çağlayan'ın yanı sıra panel konuşmacıları Atilla Yıldıztekin ve Nur Yapça da etkinlikte yer aldı.
