Proskauer, a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce it has achieved the ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certification for its Privacy Information Management System. ISO certifications are granted to organizations which meet international security and quality standards.
Proskauer is among a select group of law firms to achieve this certification which defines a framework to safeguard the privacy rights of clients and employees.
"Continuously testing and enhancing our processes and procedures to achieve this heightened standard of security, privacy compliance and management of our systems enables us to keep delivering the excellent service we are known for," said Tara Cook, Proskauer's Chief Information Officer.
Proskauer became one of the first law firms to receive the ISO 27001 certification in 2016. In 2021, the Firm received the ISO 27701 certification certified by the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB), a global provider of training, examination, audit and certification services. The Firm's systems and practices are audited and confirmed annually.
