Please join Foley Hoag for an in-person discussion in our Washington, D.C. office on the evolving role of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) in the cannabis industry.

While most states have incorporated DE&I provisions into their legalization laws in hopes of creating a more just and equitable business landscape, concerns remain that current efforts are insufficient. Reforms at the Federal level remain unlikely, and states are each trying to find the perfect combination of restrictions, set asides and incentives to satisfy their social justice goals.

Our panel will discuss the current successes and failures of DE&I regulations around the country, what states and regulators could do differently in the future, and what role private parties have in supporting DE&I efforts in the cannabis industry.

An in-person networking reception will follow, with refreshments served.
