Foley Hoag LLP announced that Carmen DeMatteis has joined the firm as a Partner in its Emerging Company and Venture Capital practice group.

DeMatteis brings over a decade of experience guiding emerging companies and investors on venture capital financings, domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate counseling.

DeMatteis was previously in the Tech Group at the New Jersey office of Lowenstein Sandler LLP, where she had started her career in 2007. She also served as Chief Counsel, Corporate and M&A, at global medical device company Cantel Medical Corp. (since acquired by Steris), where she led M&A transactions and handled corporate governance and international restructuring projects.
