Foley & Lardner LLP Senior Counsel Lauren Champaign has been elected to the Interfaith Action for Human Rights (IAHR) Board of Directors. She will serve a three year term.

IAHR is a 501(c)(3) prison reform coalition active in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. The organization represents people of faith who educate and advocate for correction systems that avoid unnecessarily punitive practices such as solitary confinement and that instead focus on rehabilitation and successful reentry.

Champaign is a commercial litigator who counsels clients in the areas of securities litigation, product liability defense, antitrust, and consumer finance matters. She is also a co-founder of Foley's Racial Justice and Equity Practice Group and is active in pro bono and other charitable work with other corporate leaders in Washington, D.C., including representing several diverse prisoners in pro bono matters and serving as a member of Miriam's Kitchen Corporate Leadership Council.
