FINRA proposed extending the expiration date of
FINRA Rule 0180 (Application of Rules to Security-Based Swaps)
to February 12, 2019. The rule limits the application of FINRA
rules to security-based swaps (i.e., maintains the
status quo).
FINRA filed the proposed extension for immediate effectiveness.
The exemption was previously set to expire on February 12,
2018.
