The NFA notified member firms of an update to its guidance on foreign exchange ("forex") transactions. In a publication titled "Forex Transactions: A Regulatory Guide," the NFA updated (i) technical amendments to NFA Bylaw 1507 definitions and NFA requirements in order to conform them to the definitions in CEA Section 1a, and (ii) added certain language relating to minimum security deposit requirements.
