Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ("FERC") Chair Neil Chatterjee named James P. Danly as General Counsel for FERC.

Mr. Danly is a former U.S. Army officer and clerk on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Most recently, he worked as an associate in the Energy Regulation and Litigation Group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Previously, Mr. Danly was managing director of the Institute for the Study of War (a D.C.-based defense think tank) and served as a fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.
