Lebanon: Filing Requirements in Lebanon

Please note that all Powers of Attorney should be completed in the name of the following signatory: TMP AGENTS P.O.Box 11-7381, Beirut, Lebanon

1.A simply signed power of attorney.

2.The registration number and date (if the trademark is registered outside Lebanon preferably of the home country). A copy of the home certificate of registration or application is required only for claiming convention priority provided it is filed within three months of the filing date.

3.The list of the goods to be covered by the application.

4.A printing block (not exceeding 10 x 10 centimetres) and 10 prints of the trademark.

5.The name, address and nationality of the applicant and the nature of its business.

3.Three copies of the specification and claims in Arabic, English, French or German, and three sets of the formal drawings, if any, using the metric system.

5.The date and number of the previous applications or registrations in foreign countries.

6.If convention priority is to be claimed, a copy of the home application must be submitted within three months of the filing date.
