According to Presidential Decree No. 2276 published in the Official Gazette No. 40.868 dated 14 March 2016 of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the National Executive decided to declare Monday 21, Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23, 2016 as non working days, for contributing with the energy saving measures throughout the national territory due to the drought.

Those days, along with the corresponding national holidays for the celebration of the Holy Week (March Thursday 24 and Friday 25, 2016) determine that our offices and the Venezuelan Trademark and Patent Office (VPTO) will remain closed throughout the whole week (from March 21 to 25). The VPTO and our offices will resume normal activities on Monday, March 28, 2016.

In consequence, all the pending due dates on Official Bulletin No. 561 will be differed accordingly.
