Amsterdam, 6 July 2021 – With effect from 1 July, Freek Hilberdink, partner at Loyens & Loeff, has been appointed as a civil law notary based in Amsterdam, taking over the practice of Pieter G. van Druten.
Freek is a member of the Corporate practice group at the Amsterdam office of Loyens & Loeff. He specializes in providing corporate advice on all aspects of national and international mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and joint ventures, with a strong focus on private equity transactions and management buy-outs. He is a member of the Private Equity team. His clients include both national and international private equity and buy-out funds, investment funds, venture capital funds and (inter)national corporations.
As of 1 July, Pieter van Druten resigned from his position as civil-law notary in Amsterdam. He is a member of the Corporate practice group and a member of the Private Equity team and will stay with the firm until retiring at the end of 2021. Pieter mainly focuses on providing advice on the corporate law aspects of national and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
