We assisted MessageBird, the Amsterdam based tech company, on the raise of US$800 million from investors as an extension on its US$200 million Series C round announced last October to fund the all-cash acquisition of US email marketing firm SparkPost for US$600 million.
Participants financing the US$800 million fundraise include Eurazeo, Tiger Global, Owl Rock Capital, and BlackRock Inc.
