ATLANTA (January 16)Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Yendelela Neely Anderson has been selected as a member of the 2014 Class of Fellows to participate in a landmark program created by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.

"This is a tremendous distinction for Yendelela," said Henry Walker, Chair of Kilpatrick Townsend. "We are proud to have Yendelela represent the firm in the esteemed LCLD program. She is a tremendous asset and will be joining a distinguished group who have been recognized for their potential as leaders in their organizations."

According to LCLD Executive Director Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Fellows Program offers participants "an extraordinarily rich year of relationship-building, virtual and in-person training, peer-group projects, and extensive contact with LCLD's top leadership."

Ms. Anderson concentrates her practice on employment litigation and counseling. Her primary focuses are discrimination, occupational safety and health, and wage and hour issues. Ms. Anderson's experience includes representing multiple clients in class action litigation and substantial interaction with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and various state Equal Employment Opportunity agencies. 

Founded in 2009, the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity is a growing organization of more than 200 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners dedicated to creating a truly diverse legal profession. Its goal is to help its Member organizations find, hire, retain, promote, and engage the best talent.
