Kirkland & Ellis advised ORIX Capital Partners (a subsidiary of ORIX Corporation USA) on its acquisition of Specialty Welding and Turnarounds, LLC (SWAT), a leading provider of specialty welding and other turnaround services to the oil and gas refinery, petrochemical and industrial markets. ORIX Capital Partners acquired SWAT from Hastings Equity Partners, which together with management will continue to be investors in SWAT in partnership with ORIX Capital Partners.
