Paul Micallef Grimaud, Partner heading the Intellectual Property, TMT and data protection practice group, and Sarah Louise Azzopardi, Advocate within the firm, contributed the Malta chapter in the second edition of the 'Copyright in the Information Society: A Guide to National Implementation of the European Directive' book published by Edward Elgar Publishing.

The guide evaluates the Directive on Copyright in the Information Society and its interpretation by the European Court of Justice in the light of its implementation and application in the EU's 28 member states. Providing an overview of the current state of affairs of copyright protection in the member states, it is a valuable tool for the national implementation of the newly adopted Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market.
