Appleby is delighted to announce three promotions in its Cayman Islands Dispute Resolution department. With immediate effect, Sebastian Said has been promoted to Partner, Anna Snead to Counsel and Jeremy Snead to Counsel.

Appleby is delighted to announce three promotions in its Cayman Islands Dispute Resolution department. With immediate effect, Sebastian Said has been promoted to Partner, Anna Snead to Counsel and Jeremy Snead to Counsel.

Sebastian specialises in international commercial litigation, banking and funds litigation, directors' and shareholder disputes, civil fraud, professional negligence disputes, and contentious trust disputes. He has been recommended by Legal 500 in the Cayman Islands from 2014 to and 2017 and was previously recommended while in practice at the Bar in England. He was most recently named as one of three "Next Generation Lawyers" for Dispute Resolution in the Cayman Islands.

Anna specialises in international commercial litigation and arbitration in the corporate, funds and insolvency fields and has particular expertise of directors' and shareholders' disputes, professional negligence and enforcement of foreign judgments. Anna is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and routinely advises on international arbitration practice and procedure.

Jeremy works on a variety of insolvency and restructuring matters, as well as funds, corporate and fraud disputes. He has advised liquidators, directors and stakeholders extensively in the Cayman Islands on a plethora of issues and high value claims and has appeared on behalf of clients in the Grand Court, Cayman Islands Court of Appeal and the Privy Council in a number of reported judgments.
