PRESS RELEASE
25 July 2011

PROFILE: Two minutes with Belinda Crosbie, Senior Associate, Newcastle office

An interview with new Senior Associate at Newcastle, Belinda Crosbie.
Australia

Area of specialisation:

Construction and commercial law.

What is your greatest achievement?

Finishing a major grocery shop with my 4 year-old son and 8 month old daughter without a single tantrum by the kids or me. (It’s actually never happened but if it does it will be my greatest achievement).

If you hadn’t become a lawyer, what would you be?

I used to dream of owning a book shop / café / jazz lounge. Given the current market for book shops I’d probably be looking for work.

What is your favourite destination and why?

Crescent Head on the NSW mid-north coast for a swim, a sleep, a walk and a drink with friends and family.

Who do you most admire?

The generations of strong women in my family and my Dad for surviving amongst them.

What is your favourite movie and why?

Moonstruck – love, opera, family.

What you are most optimistic about?

That the Knights will win a premiership under Wayne Bennett.
