RALEIGH, N.C.—Two Raleigh-based attorneys have assumed new leadership roles at Womble Carlyle. Chris Jones has been named Business Litigation Practice Group leader, while Beth Jones is the new leader of the firm's Labor & Employment Team. Beth and Chris also serve on the Firm's Management Committee.
Chris Jones is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer with a national business and regulatory litigation practice extending across North Carolina and the country. As leader of the Firm's Business Litigation Practice Group, he now leads a team of more than 70 lawyers who serve clients' dispute resolution needs in several industry sectors.
Beth Tyner Jones has nearly three decades of experience counseling employers on all facets of employment law matters. She now will lead the Firm's Labor & Employment team, which represents employers in labor and employment litigation as well as counsels employers proactively to manage risk and to help prevent such disputes. The team consists of 14 lawyers located throughout the Firm's footprint.
She also is a leader of Womble Carlyle's Education and School Law Team.
