Portolano Colella Cavallo is pleased to announce that effective September 1, 2009 Antonello Lupo has joined the firm as a Partner.
Antonello will head the Tax practice group of the law firm. Antonello is specialised in tax and corporate law, with particular experience in advising on corporate reorganisations, M&A, asset finance and structured finance.
He joins from Norton Rose where he was head of the Italian Tax practice group. Formerly he was at Gianni Origoni Grippo & Partners and Macchi di Cellere Gangemi.
Antonello has been ranked as "one of the leading lawyers in Italy" by Chambers Europe for tax and he is "highly recommended" by Legal500 Europe, Middle East and Africa. Also PLC Which Lawyer? includes Antonello among the leader lawyers in this sector.
Antonello graduated in Law cum laude from La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy in 1993.
In the early 2009, Portolano Colella Cavallo as also appointed Micael Montinari as a Partner, and Antonia Verna and Antonella Barbieri respectively as Counsel and Of Counsel.
