Los Angeles Partner Julie Shepard has been named to the Daily Journal's 2026 list of the Top 100 Lawyers in California. The award features the most exceptional attorneys who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and impact through their work across the state.
Julie litigates at the intersection of content and technology, representing film studios, television networks and technology companies in copyright, trade secret, fraud and complex commercial disputes in trial and appellate courts throughout the United States. She has lead teams in two bench trials this year and currently co-leads landmark copyright litigation addressing generative AI on behalf of the entertainment industry's largest studios expected to go to trial next year.
Through her role on the Steering Committee of the firm's AI Task Force, Julie extends that experience to clients confronting the legal questions raised by artificial intelligence across every sector.
