Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman partners Jeffrey Chery,Kieran Doyle, and Ana Zhadina will attend the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Annual Meeting in Washington, DC from October 29 to 31, 2026.
Ana Zhadina will be speaking at the IP Practice in Japan Pre-Meeting on October 27, 2026. She will be speaking on two separate topics: U.S. attorneys’ use of AI systems, and design patent protection for graphical user interface (GUI) designs, including the USPTO’s recent supplemental guidance for examination of design patent applications related to computer-generated interfaces and icons.
CLL attorneys have been actively involved with AIPLA for many years and have chaired and co-chaired several AIPLA committees, including the Trademark Law Committee, Anti-Counterfeiting and Anti-Piracy Committee, Copyright Committee, and IP Practice in Israel Committee.
