On 28 August 2026, Point72 Private Investments, one of the world's leading alternative investment firms, completed an investment of up to USD 75 million in Turkish technology company HubX. The investment values HubX at USD 1.2 billion on a pre-money basis, marking the company's achievement of unicorn status.

Established in 2022, HubX has grown rapidly over the past four years, building a portfolio of more than 40 mobile and web products that have reached over 600 million users across more than 190 countries. Point72's investment comprises an initial USD 50 million, with an option for an additional USD 25 million, and underscores Türkiye's position as an attractive destination for sophisticated international capital.

Paksoy is pleased to have advised Point72 on the transaction as Turkish counsel, alongside Gibson Dunn as global counsel. The team included partner Stéphanie Beghe Sönmez, senior associate Yeşeren Sözüer, and associates Mustafa Karadaş and Cansın Taner on the M&A aspects, with partners Şansal Erbacıoğlu and Ökkeş Şahan providing specialist advice on tax and capital markets matters, respectively, in connection with the transaction structuring.
