Appleby is pleased to announce that it acted as Cayman Islands legal counsel to Catalyst Acquisition Corp. (Catalyst), in connection to its initial public offering of 20,000,000 units at an offering price of $10.00 per unit. The gross proceeds from the offering were $200 million.

Each unit issued in the offering consists of one Class A ordinary share of Catalyst and one right, each right entitling the holder thereof to receive one-seventh of one Class A ordinary share upon the consummation of an initial business combination. Catalyst’s units began trading on The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (Nasdaq) on July 28, 2026, under the ticker symbol “CATLU.” Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the Class A ordinary shares and rights are expected to be listed on Nasdaq under the symbols “CATL” and “CATLR,” respectively.

The Appleby Capital Markets team was led by Partner Alexandra Low, Senior Associate Alejandra Gonzalez Saucedo, Paralegal Sophia Cunningham and Articled Clerk Emily McIntyre with other members of the corporate team.

Appleby continues to play a key role in major IPO and public-market matters worldwide.
