Maples and Calder, the Maples Group’s law firm, is delighted to have advised our longstanding client BandLab Technologies Corporation (“BandLab Technologies”) on its acquisition of Aiode, a digital music studio software company leveraging AI technology to empower creators to produce music using fully licensed audio models. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Aiode offers an AI-assisted music creation platform that enables creators to produce music using fully licensed audio-to-audio models developed in close collaboration with professional studio musicians and producers.

The Maples Group’s team advising BandLab Technologies comprised Asia Head of Finance, Michael Gagie with assistance from Legal Manager, Haldane Leung. They provided Cayman Islands legal advice on the transaction, working closely with BandLab Technologies’ lead counsel Hogan Lovells Cadwalader.
