Associate Christina Lopez has been honored by the Chicago Bar Foundation with the Maurice Weigle Exceptional Young Lawyer Award at its Pro Bono & Public Service Award Luncheon.
The award celebrates the initiative and exceptional contributions of young lawyers to the profession, the organized bar, and the community.
Based in Chicago, Christina maintains a complex commercial litigation practice, with a focus on defending law firms in professional liability matters. She also maintains an active pro bono practice seeking asylum for individuals fleeing persecution based on LGBTQ+ discrimination. In addition to serving on Jenner's Inclusion and Engagement and Pro Bono Committees, she remains active in the American Bar Association (ABA), is a Trustee for the Hispanic Lawyers Scholarship Fund of Illinois, and serves on the executive leadership team of the Alzheimer's Association of Illinois Chapter's Junior Board.
