Fort Lauderdale/Miami Partner Wade Williams was recently appointed President of the Broward County Bar Association (BCBA) Young Lawyers Section (YLS), while Fort Lauderdale Associate Diego Elias was named a member of the organization's Board of Directors.
Mr. Williams's one-year term began when he was officially installed as YLS President during the BCBA's Annual Installation Gala on June 12 at the Ritz-Carlton in Fort Lauderdale. Mr. Elias was also installed as a member of the YLS Board of Directors during the event.
Mr. Williams's practice focuses primarily on complex business and commercial litigation at the trial and some appellate levels. His expertise encompasses the successful representation of clients in all types of business tort cases, where he has secured favorable judgments and effectively prosecuted post-judgment collection and enforcement efforts.
Mr. Elias focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, representing clients in high-stakes business disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, fiduciary duties, and corporate governance issues, and has expertise in international trade and regulatory matters, including published work on economic sanctions.
The BCBA's YLS contributes to the educational and professional advancement of attorneys primarily in the Broward County, Florida legal community, with a focus on those under age 36.
