SSEK Law Firm recently hosted an event in collaboration with the London Stock Exchange and Pinsent Masons titled Accessing London's Equity Markets for Indonesian Companies. The event brought together legal and capital markets professionals to discuss how Indonesian companies can access global capital through London's financial markets.
The discussion covered practical insights on listing options on the Main Market, AIM, and the Private Securities Market, as well as key considerations for Indonesian issuers pursuing international capital markets opportunities.
SSEK founding partner Ira A. Eddymurthy delivered the welcome remarks, followed by opening remarks from Keziah McConnell, First Secretary Trade and Investment at the British Embassy Jakarta.
The event featured Thom Abbott, Head of Southeast Asia, Primary Markets at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), and Nicholas Hanna, Partner and Co-Head of the Corporate Department at Pinsent Masons Singapore.
SSEK partner Maria Yudhitama Eka Dewi and associate Yan Diaz M. Siregar led a session on the dual listing of Indonesian companies on the IDX and the London Stock Exchange. SSEK partner Nico A. P. Mooduto moderated the event.
