Earlier this year, Co-Managing Partners Ishan Bhabha and Randy Mehrberg sat down with The American Lawyer to discuss the firm's continued financial momentum in 2025, including a nearly 15% increase in gross revenue to $783.5 million and an approximately 18% increase in average profits per equity partner to $3.35 million.
Overall, the firm saw a 7% increase in demand for its legal services in focus areas such as government controversies, complex litigation, and education, with revenue per lawyer rising over 12% to $1.67 million. Firm leaders credited the growth to expanding our strong client relationships and deepening engagement across the firm's core practice areas.
"This is not just a story of one year. We are really happy over the last five-six years with not merely the numbers, but what the numbers represent, which is a firm on the rise, talent magnet, and fundamentally dealing with the biggest issues for our clients," said Ishan.
The firm’s continued growth was also reflected in the publication’s key annual rankings:
- Power Rankings: Ranked No. 22 (based on dominance in the moment, consistency over time, and agility to capture fast-moving opportunity)
- Revenue Per Lawyer: Ranked No. 28 (up from No. 37)
- Profits Per Lawyer: Ranked No. 34 (up from No. 37)
- Profits Per Equity Partner: Ranked No. 42 (up from No. 45)
Looking ahead, Randy expressed confidence in the firm's trajectory: "We think we're just scratching the surface, and each year has been better than the last, but it's really based on the widely respected, accepted strategy that we built together as a firm, so we know where our strengths are, and we reinvest and double down in those strengths."
