Vancouver (Canada) — Fasken congratulates partner Brook Greenberg, KC on his appointment to the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Brook joined Fasken in 1997. A University of British Columbia law graduate, he was called to the British Columbia bar in 1998.
Over nearly three decades, Brook built a go-to disputes practice, advising clients on complex commercial litigation and high-stakes matters in banking, forestry, and construction, as well as arbitration and regulatory proceedings.
Brook also helped advance the profession through sustained leadership and mental health advocacy. He was elected a Bencher of the Law Society of British Columbia (2016–2025) and held a number of senior roles, including serving as President of the Law Society in 2025.
“We extend our warmest congratulations to Brook on this well-deserved appointment,” said Clarke Barnes, Firm Managing Partner. “He’s been an exceptional advocate, mentor, and leader within our Firm and across the profession. Brook’s integrity, judgment, and commitment to public service will be a tremendous asset to the Court and to British Columbians.”
“Brook has made an outstanding contribution to the legal community,” said Jenny Francis, Managing Partner for British Columbia. “We know he will serve with distinction. While Brook will be missed, our litigation team in BC, with deep bench strength, remains well positioned to continue delivering the same high-calibre counsel clients expect from Fasken.”
Please join in congratulating Brook and wishing him every success in this new chapter.
