Dr. Martin Heuber (45) will take over the role of Managing Partner of Mayer Brown's German offices from Dr. Guido Zeppenfeld (58) with effect from April 1, 2026.

Dr. Martin Heuber (45) will take over the role of Managing Partner of Mayer Brown's German offices from Dr. Guido Zeppenfeld (58) with effect from April 1, 2026.

Dr. Martin Heuber has been a partner in the Frankfurt office since 2016 and heads the Banking & Finance practice in Germany. He advises corporates, financial institutions, and sponsors on banking and finance law, in particular on syndicated lending, acquisition finance, and real estate financing as well as restructurings.

Dr. Guido Zeppenfeld, who has played a key role in shaping and strategically developing the firm's German offices over the past twelve years, will focus on his leadership role in Mayer Brown's global employment law practice going forward. On January 1, 2026, he took over as head of Mayer Brown's global product group "Global Employment & Benefits," which the firm elevates as a strategic priority area.
