An expert in state and federal tax law, Michelle Espey is often called upon to solve complex taxation issues on behalf of her clients at Farrell Fritz. The chair of the firm's Tax Practice has advised individual clients on tax issues, along with counseling nonprofit organizations in dealing with the complexities of state and federal tax rules governing the sector. Espey has also worked with estates in navigating estate tax cases on the federal and state levels. She volunteers with an American Bar Association program to provide tax assistance to military members. She's also chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association's Tax Committee.
